Heyyyyy everyone!!!! Well it took almost a day to decide subject for my next blog🤣I read a book last month so thought why not review it here!?!? It’s my first book review so don’t judge 🤣🤣😁
Book: Silent Patient
Author: Alex Michaelides
I am not normally a frequent reader but I was damn bored in vacations. I decided to pick a book and my English teacher suggested me this book. This book is about woman’s act of violence against her husband .
Alicia shoots her husband 5 times in the face and never speaks again. Her refusal to talk captured the public attention.Theo Faber is a criminal psychiatric who has waited a long time for the opportunity to work with Alicia. His determination to make her speak and reveal the mystery of why she shot her husband takes a lot of effort. A search for the truth that threatens to consume him…..
The start of the book was quite slow but very quickly became intriguing. I have read fair few books but this ending just wasn’t expected what’s so ever. The final twist was unimaginable and absolutely amazing. This book tells you about, Theo who went through years of therapy himself and becoming a therapist, he is still unable to let go the haunts of his past, while making the reader realise it’s okay to go to a therapist and take medicines cuz you have suffered from sickness. I found myself interesting in exploring their lives instead of jumping to the end.
If you like to read a book full of thrill and suspense and something so frantic to read this book is perfect to try!
Have you read this book before?
How was my first review?
